Auto-Start Wireless System technology (AWS®) utilizes Bluetooth® technology for wireless communication between the equipped tool and dust extractor (all sold separately). The AWS® Transmitter (198501-5) is designed to be inserted into a AWS-capable Makita® Product to connect the tool to the dust extractor (tool and dust extractor sold separately). AWS-capable products include select demolition hammers, rotary hammers, surfacing planer, drywall sander, miter saws, angle grinders and more.
