The electronically controlled brushless motor efficiently uses energy to match torque and RPM to the changing demands of the application. The brushless motor optimizes battery usage for up to 50% longer run time per charge. Convenience features include an ergonomic design for one-handed operation, a conveniently located switch for easy forward and reverse operation, and an L.E.D. light that illuminates the work area. The Cut-Off Tool also includes a tool-less dust collection cut-off guard that installs easily and allows up to 5/8” cuts when installed. It weighs only 2.6lbs with a battery installed (sold separately) for reduced operator fatigue.
