KNIPEX (95 18 200 SBA) 8" Cable Shears-Twin Cutting Edges-1000V Insulated

This tool is designed for cutting copper and aluminum cables, and is not suitable for steel wire or hard-drawn copper conductors. It features precision-ground, hardened blades that provide a clean, smooth cut without crushing or deformation. The cutting action is divided into two stages: the initial cut for the insulating sheath at the front, and the final cut for the conductor at the back. Cables up to 25/32" in diameter can be cut in a single, one-handed operation. The tool requires less effort thanks to its optimized lever ratio and cutting-edge geometry. A pinch guard ensures safety by preventing finger pinching, while the adjustable, self-locking bolted joint adds durability. The 1000V multi-component grips are ASTM F1505-tested for electrical safety. Crafted from high-grade, forged, oil-hardened special tool steel, this tool offers long-lasting performance and reliability.
